Cut & Crease Operator


Roles & Responsibilities:

  • Setting and running Bobst & Sanwa machinery
  • Achieving manufacturer rated make ready times and speeds.
  • Finishing carton production to the highest standards.
  • Producing against the prescribed quality standards/specification supplied.
  • Maintenance and general housekeeping of the equipment.
  • Ensuring all jobs are completed accurately and on time.

You should possess the following skills, qualifications and/or experience: • Knowledge of Bobst & Sanwa machinery would be an advantage

  • The ability to work well in a team of production operatives
  • Be used to dealing with high end added value packaging
  • Have a conscientious and enthusiastic manner with a can-do approach • The ideal candidate will possess general computer skills
  • Be able to work on various shift patterns

Continuous Improvement Manager


  • Large printed folding carton producer.
  • Integral appointment to support major expansion plans for the business.
  • Lean / continuous improvement experience in process manufacturing is essential
  • Experience of the packaging industry preferred
  • Six Sigma certification is desirable, but not essential
  • Highly demanding customer base

The Continuous Improvement Manager will manage and facilitate hands on continuous improvement activities and projects across the business with an initial focus on cut and crease productivity, quality systems including BRC and HACCP, expansion project implementation and lean activities.

To be considered it is essential that you demonstrate experience of driving continuous improvement / lean initiatives within the manufacturing sector (food, beverage, chemical, oil and gas, pharmaceutical, consumer packaged goods, and biotechnology industries etc…)

You will be of graduate calibre and have a track record of delivering lean / CI deployment through people engagement and improvement events.

You will demonstrate a progressive career, coupled with excellent communication & influencing skills and an engaging hands-on style.

Career prospects are excellent with the business planning to double its size over the next three years.
